Yes, i dress differently and im into some hardcore music (ala Morbid agel, death metal etc.) so when i got asked by an acquaintance what I am 'into' as far as beliefs and religion..well i thought the safest answer would be to tell her that I am into the Occult. Bad move. Instead of it serving as a general term to describe what i like, she took it as 'i am in a CULT'. So then i had to go about explaining that the occult is a general term for metaphysics and that a cult is a religious sect or group. it was more trouble than it was worth, and while my occult brethren would have understood my explanations quite well, she was obviously left wondering what the hell i was talking about. Well, my reply to her was a test. i decided to test the waters to see what reaction there would be, and if she couldn't handle what i had to tell her or if she wasn't willing to be my friend because of it, then fine. Not a bad proposal, but still containing loose variables dangling..
