The Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram

I see many websites, particularly Wiccan sites, that claim the LBRP as their own, and I also see all sorts of interesting theories about how it “banishes” the elements. The LBRP was introduced by the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn (DEEP bow of respect). And the ritual isn’t really banishing the four Elements.
