I was recently re-reading a book on Nazi Occultism. I won’t go into all the details, but I have to admit it was a fascinating read. Such powerful emotions are still evoked by the sight of the Swastika. And yet this symbol is very, very old. Artifacts such as pottery and coins from ancient Troy show that the Swastika was a commonly used symbol as far back as 1000 BCE. It never represented anything negative until a certain political party adopted its use.
I was watching a film on the Hitler youth. Someone in the room remarked how awful it was that such young children were obviously brainwashed into raising their arm in the familiar Hitler salute, or German Greeting. (Deutscher Gruß).
And yet, here in America, we have children in Kindergarten “pledging allegiance” to the flag. How is this any different than the “National Pride” exhibited by the youth during Nazi Germany? I find it difficult to believe that a five year old kindergarten student has ANY idea what he or she is pledging. Just like the children during Hitler’s reign. They were shown what to do. They were told what to say. To swear allegiance to their Fatherland and to their country. And they did what they were told, whether they understood or not.
Just like our kids.

I have not said the pledge of allegiance in a long, long time. I am sure I stopped before I got out of school. I’ve had people tell me I should even if I don’t mean the words, so I fit in, but I refuse to say those words because they are not true for me. I cannot pledge blind allegiance to any government. And yes, I’m one of those who thinks “under God” doesn’t belong there, too, because we are not a theocracy. BUT, my problems with it start before that. With the first three words…
But people do follow where they are led, because there’s nothing worse than not fitting in.
i never liked doing that pledge of allegiance in fact most the time in school they had to force me to do that and the whole time i never said the words. on another note i am happy to see you posting here i miss your youtube channel though man

I have to respectfully disagree with parts of the previous comments but agree with the theory behind what is said. I love my “country”, but that doesn’t mean we should pledge “allegiance” to the government of that country when it is clear that they don’t seem to know what they’re doing. What I do pledge to is being part of a country that was founded partly on the belief that we could be anything we wanted to be if we worked hard at it — and I totallly believe that is the essence of living in a “free” society and a free country. But, I also believe we have gotten so far away from those founding principles of freedom that most of us don’t even know what our country stands for anymore. It sometimes seems like everyone just does their own thing as best they can, and there is no order to anything. The government seems fixated on power and control. Maybe what works best in the end is total chaos? No order? no rules, no leaders? Every man for himself? I have alway prided myself on being an individual who likes to think for myself but also believe its nice to have some order, some rules to live by and also tolerance for others to live in any way they feel is right for them as long as they don’t hurt anyone else. But it seems we are coming to an age where the government wants everyone to conform to one rule, one mindset and if you think differently you are a threat. That is too much like Nazi Germany in my opinion. Not good for America not good for people who want to think for themselves and raise their children to do so also, and to take pride in being individuals.
Just a quick note. The Swastika is not just a random symbol, as noted earlier, it was seen as artistic in Troy and civilizations as far back as 1000BC. But, it was NOT just a pattern, or design. As is with most ancient cultures, each design has meaning, and the Swastika is not alone. Its roots lie with an ancient script. Runescript, as some of us are now familiar with, was regarded powerful, and for the learned, acting as means for communication, but also as a tool for magick. Each rune has phonetic value, as well as individual meaning. The swastika is a creation, perhaps a bind rune or a talisman. Two intersecting Sowilu. Clever, because there is no reverse meaning for this particular rune, so no matter how you see it, its solid and unchanging. Translations will vary slightly, from reader to reader, but the jist is simple. Sowilu is symbolic of success, wholeness, vitality and popularity as well as the higher self, enlightenment and divine blessing. I am not siding with Hitler, but in his own head, he was righteous, and these were his beliefs. SO, Was this simple symbolism or was there an occult secret, was there black magick at work here, or white in the minds of madness?
Perception is reality. How open are our minds, really?
I’ve actually been yelled at school for not wanting to recite the pledge of allegiance. They wanted to make sure to make an example out of me because not reciting my loyalty to America like the Hitler Youths means I hate freedom.
It’s typical, Alex. I have heard many stories similar to yours. America, land of the free. Free as long as you think like everyone else.
